We are commonly asked by prospective clients, especially those who have not developed or managed a program in their past lives, what do I do next. With that said, please find a helpful guide to remove some of the mystery out of mystery shopping, at least at this point in the process.

Needs Determination
Establishing objectives and goals to determine your reasons for mystery shopping and what you expect to get from a mystery shopping program.

Approach
Review your customer service standards, desired selling behaviors and your formal as well as informal training protocol. Determine baseline score for measuring future standards.

Customize
Your business is unique and thus requires a unique set of questions to customize your form. This is accomplished by working with Beyond Hello team members and your training guidelines. The right questions and a realistic, comfortable scenario for the mystery shopper have proven to yield excellent results.

Form, Guidelines and Question Support
Customizing the form and crafting clear and yet concise shopper guidelines and individual question support will facilitate accuracy and consistency with results. We are happy to provide examples of successful forms to move the process along.

Employee dress code, product knowledge questions, return policy, customer profile, product information, location rosters, distribution of online data are just some of the specifics that are considered for the success of your program.

Right away and often would be the answer. We will help you decide how often to mystery shop your locations. Budget, training goals and capabilities and program administration are a few of the areas to consider when determining frequency.

Online Real Time Reporting
As all our forms and data are available in real time online, shopping regularly can quickly show trending in service and sales. Like most things in life, your program, including your reporting needs, will change over time. Service and selling behaviors will change and thus require a "revisit" to determine the program is on target.
